Savings: My sister gifted me $5000.00 for Christmas! This was totally unexpected and so generous. My sister and her husband are quite wealthy, but we’ve never gifted like this before.

    What a generous gift! I'm sure it will come in handy. You have your expenses nicely under control but it is certainly nice to have a bit additional in the bank just in case!

    How exciting! Not sure I will ever receive a $5000 gift, unless it is an inheritance, which we have received.
